My favorite way to prepare ramen; basically substituting ramen noodles for spaghetti noodles. This is the base recipe that I use and I usually add whatever else I might have on hand, such as veggies that I sauté or leftover meat.
Ingredients[]
- One package of ramen noodles
- One egg
- 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese
- Black pepper, to taste (optional)
Cookware[]
- Medium saucepan
- Large skillet
- Mixing bowl
Directions[]
- In the saucepan, boil the amount of water specified on the package of ramen noodles (typically, 2 cups).
- Once water is boiling, add the noodles and let boil according to the package's directions (typically 3 minutes).
- In a mixing bowl, wisk the egg and Parmesan cheese. If you are using black pepper, combine it as well.
- When the noodles are al dente, remove from heat and drain the water.
- Immediately combine the egg sauce and toss with the noodles.
